Nachtigal, Tom. (2024). WERD_V3_TopicModel. GitHub. https://github.com/TomNachtigal/WERD_V3_TopicModel
This repository provides results of a topic model analysis of reform descriptions from the third version of WERD (V3). It includes topic model outputs (with 30 topics) ready for use with no prior knowledge in topic models or NLP needed. It also provides the code and preprocessed data used to generate the topic model to allow researchers experiment with different parameters and explore other global education reform trends.
Historical Data
This data on historical reforms was collected through a partnership with the International Bureau of Education using their valuable archives containing reports of changes to education systems around the world over time. It contains 2,021 policy changes over the period 1930-1939, and 1946-1969. This collection is available thanks to the IBE, Emeline Brylinski for conceptualizing and supervising the project, and Camille Fabo Njia for data collection and analyses.
Data forthcoming.
